How to delete your data
Delete a post, comment, or photo
Open the item in the app and choose Delete. It is removed from the service immediately and the photo files are deleted from storage.
Delete your account and everything in it
Email feedback@mamesama.com from the address you use, or tell us the display name on your account. We will confirm the request and delete your account, posts, photos, comments, likes, and sign-in identifiers within 30 days. Machine translations of your text are deleted with the text they belong to.
Remove a linked Instagram post
If you attached a link to one of your Instagram posts, open the mamesama post and remove the link, or delete the mamesama post. We keep no copy of the Instagram post itself beyond the link and whatever you added in mamesama, so removing the link removes it from our service. If you would rather we do it, email us with the link and we will remove it within 30 days.
Sign-in providers
Deleting your mamesama account does not change your Apple or Google account. To stop those providers from sharing anything further with us, revoke mamesama in your Apple ID or Google account settings.
Report content that is not yours
If a post on mamesama contains your photo or personal information and you want it removed, email report@mamesama.com with a link to the post.
